Welcome!

Thanks for finding my page, I hope that this is the start of something easy to follow and enjoyable.  If you are reading this, I'm hoping that you already know the basics of knitting and/or crocheting and you are looking for something simple to expand your skills on instead of a scarf.  If you can sew an easy running stitch, this gives a lot more possibilities in the world of yarn!

I always have many ideas in my head about projects I want to do but either the patterns become complicated with stitches I simply can't get my head around or it calls for multiple techniques in one.  

If you want a starting point for something other than a scarf, here are a few ideas.  These can be done in either knit or crochet.  

Purse/wallet - made from 1 rectangle and sewn however you like

Bookmarks

Drawstring bags - 2 rectangles sewn together with ribbon/string looped through the neck of the bag

Dish/wash cloths - these are better made up with a cotton/cotton blend yarn

Coasters
