Stunning Squares Knitted Beanie

 

This is just a quick and small post about one of my favourite patterns for a beanie hat.  Firstly - this is not my pattern.  I found the pattern in a book called Knitting for the Absolute Beginner by Alison Dupernex and have used this pattern multiple times for close family.

However, my main reason for posting this is because it is made from 2 knitted squares.  Its shape comes from the added extras which are easy to make.

If you can knit stockinette stitch and rib stitch then you can do this pattern.  

This style is a firm favourite of my husband - so much so he chose the yarn, bought it himself then told me what he wanted from it!
